What is Oasis Christian Fellowship?
We’re Oasis Christian Fellowship (but you can just say "Oasis"), a campus group dedicated to helping students find life, community, and Jesus at UCR. College can feel a bit like a desert sometimes, so we wanted to build an "oasis"—a welcoming place to be refreshed through finding friends and growing in faith together.
For us, it’s more than just showing up to events. We’re focused on learning how to live out our faith day-to-day. We do life together, whether that’s meeting up on campus to study the Bible, discipleship meetings in the homes, or going out for fun on weekends. We want to be a home away from home: a space where you can ask honest questions, grow deeper in your relationship with God, and share the ups and downs of college life with friends.
Get Involved with Oasis
Sunday Service
On Sundays, we usually meet right here in Riverside for our own Oasis church services. On occasion we'll join up with our sister fellowships within the larger group of Acts2 Socal Churches to worship together.
Whichever type of service we're having that week, we always offer rides from the UCR campus, so stay tuned for rides and pick-up details!
Next Steps
Next Steps is our night to take the "next steps" in your faith through covering the intellectual foundations of Christianity, what we call Course 101.

Discipleship
Discipleship is for students who want to be challenged and take the next step in their faith journey.
It's not just a weekly meeting, but it’s a commitment to a few time-tested rhythms for spiritual growth: joining a Devotional Time (DT Group) at least once a week, attending Sunday church services regularly, and prioritizing our Discipleship meetings where we learn to study and apply the Bible to college life realities.

Our Sundays typically consist of some singing together, a message given by our pastor with some interactive discussion sprinkled throughout, prayer and a delicious meal to top it off. A lot of us typically linger and hang out longer afterwards too!

Not at all! Whether you grew up in the church or are just starting to ask questions about God, you are welcome here. Oasis is a space to explore faith at your own pace, ask honest questions, and learn from discussing with others!

We're a church for college students so anything casual is good.

We invite everyone who wants to serve to join our Discipleship group, where grow in your faith with other Christians and learn about various opportunities to serve.
